Comfy today: white J. Crew zip-up hoodie, light blue fleece dress, nude pantyhose, black winter boots/metallic pink pointy flats. Jewelry: watch, rings, silver etched dangly earrings, silver/blue stone ring, silver coil ring with blue stones. Finished Pool Boys yesterday. I also finished the last Owly book last week: Flying Lessons. I'm going to write about those books today in my reading journal. I think I'll start reading one of the fashion books in the locker after that.

It's still snowing out: Black wool cardigan, pink cable knit sleeveless sweater underneath, black Lanvin pants, black socks, black ankle boots. Jewelry: rings, watch, bright pink sparkly heart dangly earrings, silver ring with black stone. I swear I'm going to finish Pool Boys on break! I've got about 3 books in my locker waiting for me when I'm done (two are fashion related and one is the new Princess Diaries book by Meg Cabot.) I can't wait!

10 more months until Christmas! I wore a yellow Owl t-shirt, a long sleeve purple t-shirt underneath, and "It" jeans with white socks and my gym shoes. Jewelry: rings, watch, gold "X" earrings with diamonds. Later on I put on my "night time" clothes--t shirt and sweatpants to watch the Oscars. No reading--it was the weekend!

I'm still reading the lovely, lovely Pool Boys and I'll probably read the last book of the Owly series: Flying Lessons. It has no words so it should only take me about 15 or 20 minutes to read. The animation is soooo adorable. I'm on the cutting edge--it's a graphic novel!

Today I have on an ivory silk cardigan, ivory mesh tank top underneath for decency (sp?), tan "nice" pants from Petite Sophisticate (I'm so sad they are no longer around); nude knee high pantyhose; brown ankle boots. Jewelry: rings, watch, gold heart ring from Venture, gold "x's" earrings with diamonds, gold chain link bracelet. I'm still reading Pool Boys and I'm still liking it. The characters are so good so far--not too much swearing/drinking/drug use and I have encountered no editing errors so far which is saying alot!

I wore a camel colored cowlneck sweater, blue "denim" skirt (another purchase from Nordstrom Rack "back room" sale), cool striped Victoria Secret tights, black riding boots that are Ralph Lauren (I wasn't sure last week; I checked them when I got home). Jewelry: rings, watch, Rock n Roll Hall of Fame Museum pin that's shaped like the thing you would put in the middle of the record player to play 45s, gold chain link bracelet, gold heart locket earrings.
I started reading Pool Boys by Erin Haft. Soooo good.

Jewelry: the usual rings/watch, blue plastic ring my friend found at a computer terminal, two blue stone stackable rings, heart earrings with blue/red/yellow/green/black/white paint-looking splashes in them.
I read the second volume of Owly: Just a Little Blue. Tooooooooo sweet!

It was the weekend, and I tend to wear the same clothes both days. I wore a gray 3/4 sleeve turtleneck, "Jag" jeans, white socks, and "Fernando Alonso" shoes (they are turquoise and silver, his old team colors) during the day. At night, I changed to black ankle boots. Sunday, I wore my gym shoes. Jewelry, both days: my wedding rings, my watch, blue heart earrings. Sunday, I wore a silver ring, too.

I didn't read either day, although I should have brought a book along.

I am in between books right now. I just finished reading It's in the Bag by Winifred Gallagher.
